Meet the team: Martijn Bosma

Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do within EAE Solutions.

Hi all, my name is Martijn Bosma, 25 years old, and working as one of the Project Managers at EAE Solutions active in the Intralogistics market. Since mid-December ’24, I am living together with my girlfriend in Hoeven and being proud of us that we achieved that milestone.

After graduation from my Masters studies Operations Management and Logistics (OPL) in April ’24, also my professional career took a flight.

Started as Supply Chain Engineer in the OEM sector directly after graduation, I learned a lot in the first period but missed the challenge in the job in the end. Therefore, I decided to look out for another job and got in contact with EAE Solutions. They gave me a warm feeling and the out-of-the-blue opportunity to start as a Project Manager that provided me the challenge, learning possibilities, and great adventure I was looking for. Now, since beginning January ’25, I am working as Project Manager at this innovating company with lots of growing/learning possibilities.

Quite a hell of a year, right?

How did you first get acquainted with EAE Solutions?

During the last quarter of ’24, I came across a similar job (Supply Chain Engineer) opportunity at EAE Solutions. As this did not worked out as planned, I still received a phone call from Tom van Holten with the question: “Are you interested in an open conversation and go through the possibilities at our company?” This short phone call took all my interest and in the follow-up meetings with Tom, I got pretty confident that EAE Solutions should become my next adventure.

What is your biggest achievement in the last 3 months at EAE Solutions?

As I joined a completely new market with no prior experience, I was aware that it required quick adaptation and learning. But with the eagerness to learn the product and the guts to ask (stupid) questions, I was able to do so. From the first moment, I knew that I would be the Project Manager for the new 2 projects and that I had to plan these projects from the ground up, suitable for each department involved. To do so,

• I took initiative to align internal team members, ensuring everyone was clear on goals, timelines, and responsibilities.
• Acted as the central point of contact to align with external stakeholders, both the customer and the integrator, for smooth collaboration.
• Proactively gathered and clarified key information, allowing the team to stay productive and avoid unnecessary delays.
• Maintained project momentum by removing blockers and enabling team efficiency through clear communication and coordination

Why, in your opinion, is EAE Solutions the best partner for customers?

What do you love to do in your spare time?

In my spare time, I really enjoy staying active by playing sports like soccer, tennis, and padel. It helps me clear my mind and stay energized. I also love spending time with friends, whether it’s going out, grabbing a bite to eat and drinks, or just hanging out and having a good laugh. It’s a great way to recharge and keep a good balance between work and per sonal life.
